Sara Jane Demy: Sara Demy, is an expert at orchestrating and designing programs to meet current needs while achieving long-term strategic objectives. Prior to launching Demy-Colton Life Science Advisors, Sara was Vice President, Business Development & Investor Relations and head of the New York Office for the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). In that capacity, she was responsible for building a portfolio of dynamic and cutting-edge programs designed to help biotech companies raise capital and form strategic partnerships. During her tenure, she was responsible for advancing “partnering” activity through the development and use of an online partnering system, which is now widely used in the biopharmaceutical sector. Prior to joining BIO, Sara was the Director of International Investment for the State of New York where she focused on attracting investment in high technology sectors. During her career with New York, Sara assisted companies with financing and establishing US operations, was an integral member of the team that rethought how a state could support high-tech industries, managed special projects and organized and led numerous delegations overseas.
Steve Suriano: Steve is an experienced communications executive, with more than 8 years experience advising and providing services for companies in the biotechnology industry. Steve has managed highly successful programs including major industry conferences, product-launch initiatives, executive training workshops, corporate road shows and analyst and investor meetings.
Prior to joining the Demy-Colton Life Sciences team, Steve was a Senior Account Executive with Russo Partners LLC., where he managed corporate communications, investor relations, and marketing communications programs for corporate clients in the life sciences. Prior to Russo Partners, Steve was the Investor Relations Manager for the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). In this capacity, Steve directed major industry investor conferences, including the BIO CEO & Investor Conference and the BIO Investor Forum. In addition Steve organized executive training programs for executives in the biotechnology industry. Steve holds a bachelors degree in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross and is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.
Alex Radetsky: Alex is an innovative systems developer with over 8 years of business and technical experience in the rapidly growing partnering technology for the biotech industry. Alex is results-focused, incisive with proven ability to develop and manage emerging and mature partnering networks for various events. Alex has a proven ability to identify core development strategies, translating them into technical and functional deliverables and implementing them into tangible results.
